Two Wins In A Year On The Isle Of Wight Lottery!

Wed 21 Oct 2009

Two wins in a year on the Isle of Wight Lottery have been the perfect build up to retirement for Sally Whibley.

Sally won the top prize 12 months ago, and was delighted to find out she’d won £2,000 last week.

She retires from her job with the Isle of Wight NHS next month and has decided to spend some of her winnings on an original painting by an island artist, while keeping some back to top up her savings.

Sally, who was born on the island, lives in Yarmouth.

She said: “I have been a member of the Isle of Wight Lottery since it began, partly because it gives you better odds of winning, but also because the money goes towards helping provide more jobs for the island, which is a very good cause.”
